Sometimes places just ‘feel’ good – try to take in that feeling and think about how you might replicate that.”

Find out what your niche is, what is it that you’re interested in, what keeps you curious, where do you think your strength lies and what do you think is important to you and why. Then USE Urban Design as a tool to realise your dream. Stay focused but also open to all other possibilities that come your way. You never know what you might stumble upon and whether your passion might change! I also found it really helpful to have a mentor. Someone whose work, principles and ethics align with yours and who you respect and can learn from (it could be an organisation, a person, anything!) Ultimately, it’s all about learning and growing together!”
