Park(ing) Day Comes to Thame!

Park(ing) Day is a global movement that reimagines parking spaces as pop-up public ‘parklets’ for people to sit, meet, play, pause, plant, talk or even perform! Last year we took part in Birmingham Park(ing) Day, hosted by Define – and this year we wanted to bring it to Oxfordshire!

For one day, we transformed a small part of Thame High Street into creative spaces shaped by local businesses, artists, community groups, charities, performers and residents, to show what can happen when we put people, not cars, first!
