We love new settlements. The beauty of working on schemes at this scale is that it gives the masterplanner a chance to add real considered, ambitious and robust design value. New settlements are a more sustainable approach to settlement growth in some areas of the UK – rather than sweating the assets of existing villages, towns and cities that were never designed to grow to such a large scale. By creating a new place, based on the best principles of design, community infrastructure, local need and sustainability from the outset; new settlements will shape the way in which we all live today and for our future.
